USE CAUTION WITH FLAT IRONS TO AVOID PERMANENT DAMAGE TO YOUR HAIR...

Only Flat Iron Clean And Dry Hair, Experts say those who flat iron hair with buildup of previously used hair products in it is putting themselves at risk for hair heat damage. Even the slightest dampness in hair can literally cause the hair to “cook” if you try to flat iron it, which will swell the hair shaft and cause the protective hair moisture to be removed. While you may not be able to give up your blow dryer or flat iron for an extended period of time, be sure to give your hair a little break every now and then. In addition, when you must use heat on your hair be sure to use as little heat as possible and protect it beforehand with a hair protecting product.

To Miss Janet and Miss Tracey for their completion of the 3 day symposium with Pivot Point held at the Q-Center in St. Charles Il. During this symposium Pivot Point unveiled their new Designer Approach Library given to all students attending a Pivot Point Member School. The new six book package is the some of the best cosmetology education on the market today. Janet Trosper, veteran educator for over thirty years was quoted as saying that she feels Pivot Point has outdone their reputation of excellence with the Designer Approach Library.

CONGRATULATIONS!!! to Miss Tracey for completing her training session with a program called Cut it Out a program of the Salons Against Domestic Abuse. By taking this class she will be able to educate her students at Concept College to recognize the signs of domestic abuse in their clients. Miss Tracey was featured in the Commercial News as well as on the Channel 3 news.

CONGRATULATIONS!!! to Miss Shannon for completing her training with the American Cancer Society as a volunteer for the Look Good Feel Better Program.
